The new Imebra dedicated website is up and running, but it took longer than expected. I had to choose between two Content Management Systems: Drupal and Joomla.
I was accustomed to Joomla, but I wanted to give Drupal a try: so I installed it flawlessy and started to play around; some functionalities were quite easy to setup and run, but I got stuck in simple stuff. After few trials, i uninstalled Drupal and installed Joomla, and after one day I had a website that was working as I wanted. While I recognize the superior architectural plan behind Drupal, I had to surrender to the superior "first impression" given by Joomla. A lesson learned for the future development of Imebra: - which functionalities most of the users expect from the library?
- how easy is to use them?
- am I using strange terminology in the code and documentation that nobody understand?
Please report your opinions on the library and suggest improvement on the issue tracker here.
